FRANK'S SENSE

Hello there India, Switzerland and Japan!!! I be happier than a hound dog after a flea bath! Sorry can't teach an old dog new tricks! I be me, BABY! I gotta be me, I gotta be me! Sorry, I been outside looking at that, once in a 'blue moon' and it's made me freakier, than 'black Friday!' Oops! I reckon I best explain that a tad. Here in loony toon country, where I reside, we have these BIG1 BIG! BIG! sales for the BIG! BIG! BIG! conglomerate retail stores, the day after Thanksgiving. Yep! They wish to thank us!!! They're practically... giving... product away!!! Hey.. I kid you not!

Example, them stores used to open around 6 A. M. A few years ago they started opening at midnight. Them crazy fools... be lining up hours in advance, many hours in advance. Them crazy fools run over one of them door greeters they have at one of them super conglomerate big box stores last year. Now that's sad! I'm telling you! This poor old woman was trampled by lunatics smelling sales!!! I viewed it on the news, customers, right after two managers opened the doors, just like firing off a big military bomb, you know, two keys at the precise same time, unleashing the devastation, to come!!! DAMN! It weren't pretty! Like a herd of cattle stampeding to the smell of water, after going without for a long time!  

You think I'm nuts? Ah, oh! Probably the wrong question to ask! I agree! Ah, ha, ha, ha, ha,! Kinda takes the edge off the depression side of manic/depression!!! Boy am I wound up this fine A.M. 6 A. M. By the way! What in tarnation does A. M. stand for anyway? Don't you just hate all them initials? Like them really educated ones! I have a favorite over night radio show that plays around the world, as a matter of fact it is the highest rated over night radio show in the world. Any ways, before I lose my point! There was a most interesting guest on. He was a history major, a sociology major, a English major and a psychology major. Whew-wee he sure done a lot O majoring.

                                          NEWS FLASH or SENIOR MOMENT!

Oh! Oh! Oh! I just remembered something I read awhile back. There was a most interesting profile in our newspaper, introducing a new Doctor to our local hospital. She was a heart specialist, specializing, in specializing, specializing!!! (Don't get yer undies in a pinch, I be making my point "MY FRKING WAY!") The main point I'm trying to make, what sticks in my uneducated pea size head IS, she was 39 years own and has spent 30 + years in schools, internship, speciality training and so on and so forth!!!! I cannot imagine that!!!!!!

Okay, let's examine this more closely! She either be someone I want to evaluate me ticker, OR somebody to stay away from as a Doctor! Yer call!

I wish to return to the radio program, before my mind interrupted me. I visit this web site, I guess him to be in his seventies by his voice and a rather grandfatherly ministerial voice at that! What I was most impressed with by this particular guest was he told the facts as he investigated them. He allowed the listeners to make their own decision, based on what their beliefs were. He did not give his beliefs, he stated both sides!

I found him interesting, without pushing an agenda or selling a book. I found all these majors and the fact that his wife wrote books with him as a partnership endearing. He and his wife has written a whole a heap of  books?????? Wowza!!!
I did have a comment about something that started this post before I began doodling! Oh know I remember!

The other day I was talking to a friend at work. One of the few, "how dare I" to talk to! For some reason I told him my I. Q.  Oh shit just thinking of how low it is I have created another brain fart/ senior moment. Please hold................................................

I'm back. In my little everyday world! Please allow me to give an example or two.

My grandfather on my father's side was a poor boy who never attended school, at all! He was born around 1900. I won't diddle-daddle on his life, although he used to mesmerize my new wife years ago, with his upbringing as a poor boy who worked hard all his life, defeating alcoholism, losing an eye, numerous other life's woes! I'm most proud of him! He learned to read and write after working all his life. Yes, after retiring he attended a local school to do this! I think that's an accomplishment of MAJOR proportions!!!

Oh heavens to Betsy! I completely forgot something! He was my step grandfather, yet he will always me GRANDPA to me! I never knew much about my blood grandpa. Certainly never mattered I had one, J. F. N.

Sorry, I got side tracked AGAIN! Frank, as every one called him, had what's most missing, I FEAR in this modern world, COMMON SENSE!

My I. Q. has been meaningless to me. I only learned of it many years after graduating high school, while looking through old papers. I have never used it in any way as a barometer. My proudest, most basic achievement in my life,  is called 'common sense' of that I believe I have. From watching, studying, individuals and reading with the vision of understanding, MY OWN WAY! Today as I review backwards, I have learned many lessons, too many to write upon, like my grandpa Frank. Hard of hearing has allowed me to hear in a most unusual way. I was forced to watch, to, learn, to comprehend. Nothing came easy, I'm not complaining. I was forced to think, to determine things, I could not completely hear all in school. I could though see, think, understand at thr youngest age. Of that today, I'm eternally grateful.

FOR THAT... IS ME. WHOM... I AM! I'M LEARNING TO WRITE AT APPROXIMATELY THE AGE MY GRANDPA DID! (ONLY I HAD A STEP AHEAD OF HIM, I GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL, I DO NOT CONSIDER MYSELF, IN NO WAY, MORE INTELLIGENT, THAN HIM!!! CAN YOU IMAGINE, HIM TELLING HIS STORIES?  AS POOR AS ONE COULD BE! DAMN! """COMMON SENSENESS""" FOR THE COMMON MAN, FROM GRANDPA FRANK, BEING FRANK, ABOUT EVERYTHING, IN THE WORLD TODAY!!! DAMN! THAT BE THE ULTIMATE GOAL FOR OL' GLEN! COMMON SENSE, LOGIC, IN A WORLD THAT HAS STEPPED TOO FAR INTO THE FUTURE, FOR THE INTELLIGENCE OF OUR EVOLUTION!!!

DAMN! I THOUGHT I WAS DONE! APPARENTLY NOT SO, SAYS THE ONES IN MY HEAD, THERE MUST BE ANOTHER POINT, OR TWO, WHO KNOWS?

I.Q. THAT CAN TAKE MAN BEYOND THIS WORLD, DREAMS TO FURTHER MAN. AT WHAT COST?
